At least 3,700 homes have been sold in Knox County this year! At least 5,300 homes were sold in 2009! If you are on the fence, it is time to get into the game.
Why?
- Interest rates – Some of the best we’ve seen in years, if your parents were starting a family when Carter was in office, ask them what their mortgage interest rate was.
- Deals and Steals – Let me set you up on our daily foreclosure list so you can be the first to know when a great deal comes on the market.
- Good Help – Are you nervous about making such a big decision because some are now dealing with the consequences of making poor ownership choices? Set up an appointment to take my Homeowner University course. This will give you the tools you need to make wise housing decisions.
So, I’ve spent the last couple of years lamenting over the fact that the economy is not what it was 3 and 4 years ago. I’m positive I am not alone. But, in that wasted time I did learn that just because it isn’t what it was, doesn’t mean that the four horsemen are saddling up. It just means that, it is what it is, and just work with what you have.
I’ve learned (as many others) that now I’m working twice as hard and making 1/2 as much…it means that how I work and in what areas I chose to spend my time/effort/energy can change.
So now, I’m focusing on a couple of different avenues for real estate. One of those is Property Management, as those people who prefer to rent their houses increases, having a good database of potential renters and various venues to advertise has become successful for me. I also am getting my SFR (Shortsale and Forclosure Resource) certification to help homeowners who are feeling mortgage strain by educating them on their various options.
Adapting to “the new norm” doesn’t have to be to be hard, it can be a challenging and exciting time where we all learn something new, and have hope for the future.
If you find yourself, in any of the situtions above, please feel free to call for an appointment so we can discuss your “new norm”.
